is a state-wide nonprofit trade organization. With nearly 2,100 members representing more than 250,000 housing units throughout Minnesota, MHA is the voice of the state's multi housing industry.

MARY RIPPE
PRESIDENT
As the association's president, Mary is responsible for the overall operation of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association.  She works with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Legislative Committee, Nominating Committee, Political Action Committee, Economic Task Force, Industry Standards Task Force, and other ad hoc committees dealing with any specific association or industry issues as they arise.

CARLA BUSH
VICE PRESIDENT
Carla plans and coordinates all of the training programs held by MHA, including five certification programs, conventions, Independent Owner sessions, special half-day seminars, subsidized housing seminars, and maintenance seminars. Carla also works with the Professional Education Committee and the industry's awards program, MADACS.

TOM CASSIDY
PUBLICATIONS DIRECTOR
Tom is the managing editor of the MHA monthly publication, the Advocate, as well as the MHA Buyer's Guide. Tom is also responsible for planning and coordinating the annual Fall Products Show and the vendor show for the annual Working Together Conference. Tom works with the Convention Committee and the Ambassadors Committee.

TINA GASSMAN
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Tina defines and implements the public relations strategy and manages the reputation of Minnesota's multi housing industry.  She serves as media spokesperson, directs digital communication, crisis communications, and proactive campaigns throughout the year with the Strategic Public Relations and Charitable Outreach Committees.  Tina also works with the Industry Standards Task Force, Economic Task Force, Technology Committee and Legislative Committee.

CONNIE ANDERSON
DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP/MARKETING
Connie is responsible for membership recruitment and retention. She is responsible for all meetings, education, publications, and services provided for the CIC Midwest - managers/board members of owner-occupied multi-housing. She is also responsible for the Investors Club Meetings, Golf Tournament and Orientations. Connie works with the Membership/Orientation Committee, Golf Committee, Independent Owner Committee and CIC Planning Committee.

TODD LILJENQUIST
DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Todd is the chief lobbyist representing MHA's interests at the state capitol and on regulatory matters. He is responsible for grassroots activities and the Multi-Housing PAC. Todd also works with the Legislative and Legal Committees.

LISA PEILEN
DIRECTOR OF MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS
Lisa is responsible for all of our efforts with city governments including policy development. She coordinates MHA's response to city proposals on regulations and fees as well as works proactively with city council members and staff.

TRICIA ERSKINE
ACCOUNTANT
Tricia manages all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including billing and collections. She also handles personnel functions, payroll, insurance and other benefits administration.

JENICA HICKEY
INDUSTRY SERVICES MANAGER
Jenica's main focus involves developing on-going relationships with owners and managers of multi-housing in Greater Minnesota. She coordinates and staffs all of their member-service programs and is responsible for the recruitment and retention of this segment of our membership. Jenica also works with the Greater Minnesota committee and MHA's Young Professionals.

ALLISON HARKNESS
EDUCATION PROGRAMS COORDINATOR 
Allison coordinates MHA's certification programs (CRM, CRMT, AHM, TaCCs and CCAM) and organizes the Maintenance Olympics. Additionally, Allison is responsible for coordinating registrations and payments for all educational conferences and CIC Midwest seminars. She assists with golf, is actively involved with MHA's Independent Owners Committee and helps coordinate monthly Investors Clubs.

JUDY KNUTSON
MEMBER SERVICES ASSISTANT
Besides being the first voice you hear when calling the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, Judy is responsible for forms and leases, the Weekly Update, and assists in all membership functions. She also organizes New and Prospective Member Orientations.

EDUCATION ASSISTANT
Mallory is responsible for coordinating registrations and payments for all educational seminars as well as reporting CEU hours to the Department of Commerce. She maintains our database and troubleshoots website and IT issues. Mallory additionally offers support to our legislative department.

MEETINGS & EVENTS COORDINATOR
Stacey works with our vendor members and helps administer our Fall Products Show and Working Together exhibits, in addition to the bi-annual Buyer's Guide. She is on the Ambassadors and Convention Committees and helps to coordinate the MADACS Awards program. She is also responsible for assisting with Board of Directors functions and coordinating the Annual Meeting.
