A CIC (common interest community) is an owner-occupied townhome, condominium, or homeowner association. If you manage or live in a CIC, we want to help you learn how to more effectively manage and maintain your communities, reduce risk for you board members and homeowner, and protect the value of your properties.

CIC Midwest Planning Committee

Purpose: To help CIC Midwest members achieve the industry standard of excellence in professional CIC management through education; and to provide the tools needed to succeed in daily CIC Management, including information, resources and networking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee CIC education, resources and publish a high-quality quarterly publication, e-newsletter, and resource brochures.

2. Promote membership satisfaction, recruitment, and retention. Continually develop, evaluate and enhance member benefits. Promote member recognition and appreciation, networking, and career/association development.

3. Survey the needs of our members. Develop and make available resources to meet those needs.

4. Provide opportunities for our product/service members to promote to the general membership through advertising, flyer mailing program, sponsorships, CIC Directory and other avenues.

Assigns and coordinates articles from industry professionals for the quarterly CIC Midwest News publication.

Works to promote (1) membership recruitment, retention and satisfaction; (2) member recognition; (3) and Communications, Promotions, Marketing.

LEGISLATIVE

Monitor bills of interest to CICs. Take appropriate action when needed.

COOPERATIVES
