Opportunity Zones Regulations Update

Part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

There are significant investment opportunities available through the Opportunity Zone provisions in the new federal tax law.

The speakers will lead a discussion regarding (i) the possible income tax benefits available from an investment in property located in a qualified opportunity zone and how such investments may be attractive to both developers and capital investors and (ii) the primary requirements for qualifying an investment in property in a qualified opportunity zone for the tax benefits and how such requirements may, or may not, apply more readily to different types of projects.
