Meeting Schedule:

5:00 - 5:45 p.m.
Topic Tables: At our pre-meeting Topic Tables, everyone brings questions to ask and information to share. We often hear how valuable these forums are to the Independent Owner who primarily works alone. It's a great way to find out what others are doing. Why spend time and money trying to reinvent the wheel when you can learn from the experiences of others? At Investors Club meetings, our members start to form their own informal business teams. They can get referrals, advice and knowledge that they can't get from a book or online article. Our membership is one of our best resources.

6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Speaker Presentation: Our programs feature speakers who are experts in their fields.

Properties for Sale! Meeting attendees are encouraged to place information about properties for sale on the Resource Counter at the meeting. Then talk with interested parties during the break and after the event.

Industry Fairs for Independent Owners
Education, Vendor Show, Networking Cocktail Reception & Dinner, Prop Swap, Raffle Prizes & Fun!

The Investors Club has two Industry Fairs each year. This year, Independents Day was May 14th, 2013 and the Business Buffet is November 12th, 2013. Both are held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 1201 W. 94th St., Bloomington. We begin with a vendor show and cocktail reception. This is followed by educational sessions. Breaks allow you to continue visiting the vendor show and network with other rental property owners.  The prop swap table is where you can place information on properties you have for sale, then talk with interested parties after the event.  Dinner is served during the program. A raffle prize drawing is held at the end of the evening. Vendors present the winners with their donated prizes.

Vendor Show
The vendor members who participate at these meetings specialize in the multi housing industry. Finding vendor partners who know your buildings, and can help you plan for long and short term maintenance, can be as valuable to your rental property business as having a fully leased building.

Have questions? Want further information or to speak with a staff member about attending an upcoming Investors Club Meeting?
