General Membership is open to owners and/or managers of rental property. Dues are based on the number of units you own and/or manage, allowing every member to contribute their "fair share." (If you also have a product or service you would like to promote, you will need to join as a Product/Service Member.)

Since its beginning, MHA has always responded to the needs of its members. When market trends change, the economy fluctuates, new issues arise or new laws are proposed, MHA figures out what needs to be done, then works to protect your bottom line.

What MHA Can Do For You

Protect Your Business by representing your interests at the federal, state and local levels of government. Our full-time lobbyists promote favorable laws, and work to defeat laws that would be harmful to our industry. You also receive national representation through our affiliation with the National Multi Housing Council.

Keep You Informed about current trends in management, marketing and maintenance, and update you on laws, taxes, investment trends, industry issues and products, through our monthly publication, Multi Housing Advocate, and our Members Only Web Site.

We also provide a Hotline, manned by volunteer members, for frequently asked questions from rental property owners, managers and renters.

Provide Networking and Informational Opportunities at monthly meetings, through committees, the Annual Dinner and Presidential Inaugural, the MADACS Industry Awards, New Member Orientations, Product/Service Showcases, the Golf Tournament, Investors Club meetings, educational classes and seminars, the Working Together Conference, Annual Perspectives meeting, the Technology Conference, and the Fall Convention and Product Show. Improve Your Skills through our nationally recognized education program, which includes ongoing classes and seminars on legal issues, marketing, management and maintenance, as well as certification and licensing programs.

If you also have a product or service you would like to promote, you will need to join as a product/service member. General members are not allowed to promote a product or service.

Your annual renewal date is the month that you joined MHA.
