Description: The person in this position will assist the maintenance lead technician with the performance of routine and preventive maintenance duties at Highland Ridge, a 228-unit luxury apartment community located just off Shepard Road in St. Paul’s Highland Park area (an our own Shepard Park neighborhood of six StuartCo communities). This is a full time 40-hour per week position with a schedule of primarily Monday through Friday days; occasional weekend hours and after-hour emergency on-call services (on a schedule of every fifth to sixth week) are also required. Qualified candidates will have multi housing maintenance experience/knowledge (see below) and enjoy working under a minimal amount of direction. In exchange Requirements: Solid experience in/knowledge of multi housing maintenance is required. Skills in the areas of HVAC, appliance troubleshooting/repair, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry are necessary. Candidates with CPO and/or a Special Engineer’s License are preferred. A customer service-oriented, personable individual who is willing and able to do small jobs for our residents, who will work independently or under minimal direction, and who has the ability to take charge in the lead technician’s absence is the ideal candidate. The ability to prioritize the workload is also important. A friendly customer service attitude is also necessary, as our technicians often come into direct contact with our valued residents!
