Governor Walz Extends the Stay at Home Order

Governor Walz issued Executive Order 20-33 extending his prior Stay at Home Order until Monday, May 4th. Under the Executive Order, Minnesotans continue to be prohibited from leaving their homes except to engage in permissible activities or to perform work as critical services workers as outlined by the Order and supporting documents.

Rent is Still Due

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) was signed into law. It includes nearly $2 trillion in relief intended to mitigate the enormous economic effects of COVID-19 on the American economy. Further analysis will be provided as the CARES Act is further digested and better understood by everyone but below are the key provisions impacting renters and businesses
