Assisted Multifamily Housing Manager

HUD Program Requirements & Compliance

Assisted Multifamily Housing Manager (AHM) occupancy training will help your property comply with all HUD program requirements while providing a variety of techniques to ensure that tenant files satisfy RHIIP requirements. Increased monitoring of regulatory compliance by HUD makes this course essential training for front-line staff, managers, and owners of HUD-subsidized multifamily housing.

AHM provides staff with the skills required to earn a superior annual Management and Occupancy Review (MOR). All programs in the HUD Handbook 4350.3 REV-1/CHG-4 are covered, including: Section 8 multifamily housing, Section 236, Section 221(d) (3), Section 202, Section 811, Rent Supplement, RAP and the new Section 811 Project Rental Assistance Projects.

Participants receive a copy of Quadel’s nationally recognized AHM course book. All of Quadel’s course books are designed to provide “plain English” reference manuals to assist program staff perform their daily functions more efficiently after attending the AHM training course. EIV requirements are included throughout the course book.

Quadel offers an optional AHM examination on the afternoon of the third day after a morning review session. The four-hour examination is open book and includes multiple choice and true/false questions, mini-exercises, and case studies. Participants who successfully pass the examination receive the AHM designation recognized by professionals in the assisted housing management industry nationwide.

Finally, you release MHA from liability for any claims in connection with your participation.

Cancellation Policy: Any and all cancellations must be received at least 24-hours in advance of the class start time in order to receive a refund. Cancellations are accepted via phone call or email and will be time-stamped according to the time they were received by our system (voicemail or email). Substitutions may be made up until the class begins at no charge. Attendees who cancel after the 24- hour cut-off and/or who do not attend are liable for full fees and will not be entitled to any refund, without exception.

Late Registration: All registrations received within 24 hours prior to course start will be charged an additional $10 late registration fee. This policy does not apply to Conferences which have their own late registration policy outlined in their respective brochures.

  • Please note: MHA typically does not cancel or postpone classes due to inclement weather. In the extremely unlikely event that a class was to be canceled or postponed, notification would be made via the MHA website: www.mmha.com or via direct email, if time allows.
  • Transfers to a future offering of the class after the 24-hour cut-off has passed are not allowed.  The attendee would need to re-register and pay a new fee for any future offering of the class.
  • These policies do not apply to designation programs or conference, each of which have their own cancellation policies outlined in their respective brochures.
