Lunch & Learn: Creating and Enforcing Rules and Regulations
January 24, 2019
Presenter: Phaedra Howard, Esq., Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC
He says it’s a rule. She said it’s not enforceable. But it’s a rule, so let’s figure out a way to enforce it. And that’s when the chaos begins...

In this seminar, we will present case studies of rule enforce-ment situations that have complications, gray areas, or ex-tenuating circumstances. We’ll review situations that involve poorly written rules, questionable evidence of a rule viola-tion, or a rule that contradicts the Bylaws, ordinances or state or federal laws. We’ll work through each situation to-gether and come up with a solution for each case. We’ll learn how to write rules that have teeth. And we’ll review ways to make it easy for your homeowners to comply. Find out what works.
