MHA offers a range of continuing education credit opportunities for professionals pursuing industry designations or maintaining external credentials. Learn how credits are earned, tracked, and reported through MHA.
MHA Designation Credits
5.0
Annual Credit Requirement
All CRM, CRMT, COM and ACRM designation holders are required to earn 5.0 credits each year.
CRM, CRMT & COM
All MHA education classes qualify for designation credits. One hour of class time equals 1.0 credit.
ACRM
ACRM designation holders must earn their 5.0 annual credits through qualifying service hours.
ACRM Service Hour Opportunities

Judge for MADACS
One hour of judging equals one service hour. Up to 5.0 credits may be earned with verification and sign-off from the MHA Events Team.
Teach for MHA
One hour of teaching equals two service hours.
Serve in an MHA Leadership Position
Serve on the MHA Board, as a Committee Chair, or in another qualifying leadership role. One year in a position equals two service hours.
Provide Public Testimony
Provide public testimony at a municipal or legislative meeting. One testimony equals five service hours. Contact

Grade CRM Final Projects
Join the CRM Committee and assist with final project grading. One graded project equals one service hour.
Assist with CRM Budgeting Office Hours
One hour of assistance equals one service hour.
Provide a Subject Property
Provide a subject property to a CRM or CRMT candidate when needed. One candidate equals five service hours.
