Advocacy. Information. Education. Innovation.

For more than 50 years, MHA has represented all aspects of the multi housing industry in the State of Minnesota. We represent the interests of our 2,000 members and 400,000 multi housing units with a full-time presence at the state capitol, before regulatory agencies, and before city councils.

Our team of lobbyists analyzes the probable impact of proposals related to the industry and meets regularly with elected officials to explain their actions' effect on the multi housing industry.  We provide timely information to our members on legislation, ordinances, or regulatory actions impacting owners and residents. We then give our members the resources and tools they need to respond professionally and effectively.

MHA members play a critical role in our government relations' success. The personal involvement of our members in contacting legislators and city council members is one of the most essential tools MHA has to bring about positive change for the multi housing industry.

As an affiliate of the National Multi Housing Council, MHA members are kept abreast of many critical federal issues such as taxes, fair housing, and other regulations.
