Investors Club: Leveraging Incentives to Improve Energy Efficiency & Drive Cost Savings

Learn about available incentives through the City of Minneapolis, Xcel Energy, and CenterPoint to support building energy efficiency. Isaac and Izzy will provide information about the Green Cost Share program, which awards grants to projects that save energy, reduce air pollution, and cut carbon dioxide emissions. Funding is available for any building in Minneapolis, and grants can be applied for annually. They will also share example case studies, outline how to apply, and highlight what projects are covered. Available grants and funding amounts:

  • Commercial Efficiency > Incentives are available for 25% of project costs up to $75,000.
  • Innovative Air Pollution Reduction > Incentives are available for 45% of project costs up to $150,000.
  • Large Greenhouse Gas Reduction RFP > Incentives available that range between $200,000 - $500,000.
