The Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA)
is a state-wide nonprofit trade organization. With nearly 2,100 members representing more than 250,000 housing units throughout Minnesota, MHA is the voice of the state's multi housing industry.

MHA delivers value for its members through its products such as renter lease agreements, by offering world-class education to fit the needs of rental property owners and property management companies, and by advocating for all aspects of the multifamily housing industry with full-time presence at both the state capitol and within each municipality.  In everything we do, we have the interests of our nearly 2,100 members and their more than 320,000 units in mind.

•  CRP, Certificate of Rent Paid, 2016, 2016 Landlord Instructions for CRP Landlords are required to give each renter a completed CRP, Certificate of Rent Paid, no later than January 31, 2017. Renters will need this CRP to apply for a property tax refund. You may also include MHA's flyer with your CRPs (optional).

•  HUD Fair Housing Guidance - On April 4, 2016, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued fair housing guidance on the use of criminal records by housing providers. We encourage you to read the guidance. An article on this topic written by Donna Hanbery was also printed in the June 2016 edition of the Multi Housing Advocate. MHA has convened a work group to discuss the guidance and its impact on the industry.

Three panelists will examine actual properties for sale and discuss the pros and cons of each, and share income producing strategies.
